سورة غافر
Surah Name: Al-Ghafir Meaning: The Forgiver
Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumu allayla litaskunoo feehi wa(al)nnahara mubsiran inna Allaha lathoo fadlin AAala a(l)nnasi walakinna akthara a(l)nnasi la yashkuroon(a) Allah-SWT it is Who-SWT has made the night that you may repose therein, and the day enlightening. Verily Allah-SWT is the Rabb-SWT of Grace for mankind: yet most of mankind return not thanks. (40:61) |
ذَلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ Thalikumu Allahu rabbukum khaliqu kulli shayin la ilaha illa huwa faanna tufakoon(a) Such is Allah-SWT, your Rabb-SWT the Creator of everything; there is no god but He-SWT . Whither then are you straying away? (40:62) |
كَذَلِكَ يُؤْفَكُ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ يَجْحَدُونَ Kathalika yufaku allatheena kanoo biayati Allahi yajhadoon(a) In this way those who were used to gainsay the Signs of Allaah-SWT have strayed away. (40:63) |
Allahu allathee jaAAala lakumu alarda qararan wa(al)ssamaa binaan wasawwarakum faahsana suwarakum warazaqakum mina a(l)ttayyibati thalikumu Allahu rabbukum fatabaraka Allahu rabbu alAAalameen(a) Allah-SWT it is Who-SWT has made the earth for you a resting place and the sky a structure; and fashioned you and fashioned well, and provided for you goodly things. Such is Allah-SWT, your Rabb-SWT ! So blessed be Allah-SWT, the Rabb-SWT of the worlds. (40:64) |
Huwa alhayyu la ilaha illa huwa fa(o)dAAoohu mukhliseena lahu a(l)ddeena alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameen(a) He-SWT is the Living; no god there is but He-SWT . So call upon Him-SWT , making faith pure for Him-SWT . All praise for Allah-SWT, the Rabb-SWT of the worlds. (40:65) |
Qul innee nuheetu an aAAbuda allatheena tadAAoona min dooni Allahi lamma jaaniya albayyinatu min rabbee waomirtu an oslima lirabbi alAAalameen(a) Say you; verily I am forbidden that I should worship those whom you call upon besides Allaah-SWT when evidences have come to me from my Rabb-SWT , and I am commanded that I should submit to the Rabb-SWT of the worlds. (40:66) |
Huwa allathee khalaqakum min turabin thumma min nutfatin thumma min AAalaqatin thumma yukhrijukum tiflan thumma litablughoo ashuddakum thumma litakoonoo shuyookhan waminkum man yutawaffa min qablu walitablughoo ajalan musamman walaAAallakum taAAqiloon(a) He-SWT it is Who-SWT created you of dust, and then of a drop, and then of a clot, and then He-SWT brings you forth as an infant, and then He-SWT ordains that you attain your full strength, and then that you become old men-though some of you die earlier-and that you attain the appointed term; and that perhaps you may reflect. (40:67) |
هُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ فَإِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ Huwa allathee yuhyee wayumeetu faitha qada amran fainnama yaqoolu lahu kun fayakoon(u) He-SWT it is Who-SWT causes life and death; and whence He-SWT decrees an affair He-SWT only says to it: Be, and it becomes. (40:68) |
